Unvented Hot Water
1-day course, at Caerphilly site
Offering the chance to gain the NICEIC certificate which is valid for five years, this course is suitable for operatives who install or service unvented hot water units.
It satisfies Part G of the Building Regulations requiring competence from those installing or servicing unvented hot water units. It also enables you to self certify work, without the need for inspection by Building Control Officers.
You undertake both practical and paper-based assessment.

- System design to regulation G3
- System protection through temperature and pressure
- Commissioning of UVHW
- Identifying the causes of common faults and their diagnosis
- The working principles of various types of UVHW storage systems
- The correct method of safe electrical isolation
