ACS Commercial Gas
1 to 7 day course (depending on type of assessment and modules undertaken), at Caerphilly site
Initial Assessment: Suitable if you’re a first-time entrant wishing to gain a qualification to work with gas in commercial settings and meet entry requirements*. Changeover packages are available if you’re an existing domestic engineer looking to expand your services to cover commercial properties.
Re-assessment: For existing commercial engineers wishing to renew qualifications.
You take the core safety module CoCN1 (or CoDNCO1 for changeovers) as the starting point, then choose suitable modules from:
- ICPN1 – Installation of Pipework
- CIGA1 – Commercial Indirect Fired Boilers
- CORT1 – Commercial Overhead Radiant Tubes
- TPCP1 – Testing & Purging greater than 1m cubed
- TPCP1A – Testing & Purging less than 1m cubed
- CoCN1LS – Limited Scope Commercial Core (suitable for pipe fitters)
You undertake both practical and paper-based assessment.
