Basic Gas Utilisation

20 day course, at Caerphilly site

This certificated training course is ideal if you wish to enter the domestic gas sector, but lack the relevant qualifications or formal proof of suitable work experience.

It’s a structured training programme which covers all technical and underpinning knowledge requirements, before giving you the chance to build a portfolio of evidence ‘on-site’ under the supervision of a registered gas engineer.

This evidence is monitored and evaluated to make sure you produce a sufficient range of varied work. Once your portfolio is complete, you receive a certificate of achievement which allows you to go forward for ACS assessment.

You’re assessed through tests at the end of each week.
